Chief Executive Officer
Dean Debnam has over 30 years experience in turning ideas into successful businesses and stills acts as CEO of several of them. In 1993 he became CEO of Workplace Options, Inc. and over the years has transformed WPO from a consultancy and management company, into the one of the largest global work-life companies.

 

 

Key People at EAR - Alan KingMr. Alan King
President and Chief Operating Officer
Alan King brings over 20 years of business development, marketing and operations experience to Employee Advisory Resource Ireland, with much of this time spent in Employee Assistance Programme delivery and management. He has a bachelor?s degree from Colby College and a master?s degree from the University of Rhode Island.

 

 

 

 

 

Key People at EAR - Dirk HansenMr. Dirk Hansen
Clinical Services Director, UK and Ireland
Dirk Hansen is responsible for the management of the clinical aspects of our EAPs and related services, including counselling, case management and critical incident interventions. His previous positions have included working as a mental health case manager, counsellor, clinical manager and counselling programme director. He received his counselling training in the USA and is also a BACP accredited counsellor in the UK. His training includes specialist areas such as solution-focused counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.

 

 

Key People at EAR - James BradleyMr. James Bradley
Director of Operations, UK and Ireland
James Bradley is responsible for the management of all the non-clinical aspects of our EAPs and related services. He was educated at Oxford Brookes University, specialising in Business Administration, Management and Law and has a broad range of business experience and worked as a lay advocate for the Citizens Advice Bureaux for 5 years in the civil courts. James is recognised as an expert in the UK for the Child Support Agency.

 

 

Key People at EAR - Brendan MaddenMr. Brendan Madden

Director of Outcomes Management,

Brendan is a psychologist and experienced trainer and has extensive experience in the field of counselling and therapy. He is an accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and senior trainer and consultant with the Brief Therapy Group. Brendan has implemented and managed EAPs for a wide range of public sector and private organisations. He is a founding member of the Irish chapter of the Employees Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), and a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD).

 

 

Ms. Clare Robinson
M.Econ, MSc, BA, Dip, Mgt, EAPA
Manager of Service Delivery
Clare is the manager of Service Delivery with EAR Ireland. Graduating with a BA from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2001, Clare holds post-graduate qualifications in Research and Economics from UCD and Trinity College. She has excellent research skills in both quantitative and qualitative research, having completed Masters Degrees in Applied Social Research and Economic Science. Following roles in research and information analysis, Clare worked for the European Commission Employment and Social Affairs Directorate where she completed a number of key research programs funded by the European Union. She has extensive experience of EAPs and Work-Life services both in the UK and Ireland and has also played a key role in the development of an International EAP service.

Clare has extensive skills in researching, assembling and delivering key information to clients on areas relevant to their work-life concerns and is responsible for the development of the work-life service in Ireland.

 

 

Key People at EAR - Colman DunneMr. Colman Dunne
BA, MA CAC MIAAAC, MIITD EAPA
Clinical Consultant, EAR Ireland
Colman is a counsellor and psychologist with over 20 years experience in the provision of EAP services. He was the MD and founder of the first Irish provider of external EAP services and provided the earliest training programmes in Ireland for EAP professionals. He has pioneered the provision of EAP services to some of Ireland’s leading companies. He was formerly the director of the Stanhope Street alcohol addiction centre for 12 years. He is a founding member of the Irish Association of Alcohol and Addiction Counsellors and a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD).
